Yorba Linda

Yorba Linda is an affluent suburban city in northern Orange County. It is surrounded by other suburban cities such as Placentia, Brea, and Anaheim Hills. It has a population of over 68,000. It is primarily a residential community with many shopping centers interspersed throughout the city. It is known for its abundance of middle, upper-middle, as well as high-end luxurious single-family homes on large lots. A recent CNN Money article deemed Yorba Linda as the richest city in Orange County and one of the Richest in the United States. The city boasts of top-rated public schools served by the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYUSD); nearly every year its students place near the top of the Orange County schools in standardized academic achievement tests. Adults, youth, and children enjoy over 135 acres of sports fields and 30,000 square feet of gymnasium space for activities including Little League baseball, girls’ softball, Pop Warner football, soccer, and youth basketball. Yorba Linda also has over 100 miles of equestrian trails throughout the city.
