Pasadena
Pasadena is a large suburban city located about 15 minutes from Los Angeles. It is surrounded by other suburban cities such as San Marino, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Altadena, and South Pasadena. Although it is a residential community, Pasadena is well known as a cultural, commercial, and cosmopolitan center. In the residential areas of Pasadena you will find middle, upper-middle, and high-end multi-million dollar Estates, as well as luxury town homes and condominiums. In Old Town Pasadena you could walk and wander for days in tree-lined sidewalks and quaint alleyways exploring countless numbers of specialty stores, boutiques, world-class restaurants, sidewalk cafés, bistros and exclusive retailers. Although Pasadena is a large city, it has definitely preserved its Old World charm.
In Pasadena there is always something to do: During the day you can explore Pasadena’s numerous renowned cultural attractions such as world-class museums, art galleries, fine theaters, music centers and institutes, and science and research centers. During the night you can enjoy the Pasadena’s vibrant cosmopolitan nightlife. Pasadena is also the home of: the annual Tournament of Roses Parade; prestigious universities, educational institutions, and technological corporations (e.g., Cal Tech University and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory); the landmark Rose Bowl, which is where the UCLA Bruins football team plays their matches; and theHuntington Library and the Norton Simon Museum.
