Nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, Arcadia is a very prosperous community located next to Pasadena and San Marino.  It is mainly a residential community with expansive properties, luxurious estates, beautiful landscaping, and lots of age old Oak trees.  Arcadia has its own school District with a very prestigious high school, Arcadia High.  It is among few public high schools in California to receive a distinguished Great Schools Rating of 10 out of 10. Arcadia is also home to the world renowned Santa Anita Race Track and the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, very popular attractions for people from all over the world.In 2009-2010, Arcadia it was named one of the “Best Places to Raise Your Kid” by Bloomberg Business week.  In 2012, It was ranked 7^th in the nation on CNN Money magazine’s list of towns with high median home costs.
